Please Welcome Mandy Potter, Resource Room
Silver Beach is home to me! I attended this school as a 4th and 5th grader. This
is my second year teaching; first with elementary students. Last year I enjoyed working with Blaine High School
students and I am excited to be working this year with the younger kids! I have been married for one year to my
husband John. We love to travel, hike, read and go out to dinner occasionally. In the next couple years I hope
to get my masters in literacy and one day teach or build a school in Africa! But for now, it is wonderful to work
with the students at Silver Beach.

My family includes, my wife Jennifer; 2 sons Andrew 17 and Kyle 15 who play football
for the Ferndale Golden Eagles. we have two Bulldogs, Junior and Lexis; I also teach at Parkview this year, I have
been a teacher and coach for 20+ years and have also taught at Shuksan, Columbia, Alderwood, Birchwood. My favorite
sports are football, basketball, and baseball. When I have free time I like to ride my Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Silver Beach is the best school I have ever taught at!
